Wolfburn Single Malt Whisky
Wolfburn Distillery fired up its two small stills in January 2013 and its first single malt whisky was released in 2016. Situated just to the west of Thurso in the county of Caithness and in Scotland’s Highland whisky region Wolfburn is now Scotland’s most northerly mainland distillery. Since it is equipped with two stills it is also amongst the smallest in terms of the volume of whisky produced. With the wild seas of the Pentland Firth to the north and ancient peat bogs of the amazing Flow Country to the south, salty-peaty notes are sure to be found in Wolfburn malt whisky.
