Tasting Notes

Nose: Opens with a fruity & fresh quality – reminiscent of a candy shop with pear drops apparent.
Palate: Sweet & vanilla’d – American Cream Soda style – runs to macerated summer fruits.
Finish: Medium long – carrying a sweet malt quality + a chocolate and orange tang.

Longmorn Distillery

Longmorn Single Grain Whisky

Longmorn Distillery was established by John Duff, George Thomson and Charles Shirres in 1893 just north of Fogwat and beside the Strathspey Railway which whisked its deep and sumptuous whisky south to the scotch blenders. Longmorn is a Speyside malt whisky distillery and is now equipped with eight stills. Although this distillery does not have a visitor centre it often participates in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival during which a few lucky visitors are able to tour the distillery. Longmorn single malt is available primarily in independent’s ranges such as Wemyss Malts and Gordon & MacPhail.
