Glenisla Distillery
Glenisla Single Malt Whisky
During the 1970s one still in Glen Keith Distillery was used to concentrate peat flavour in water which had been flavoured with peat smoke and imported from Stornoway. The resulting peated water was used in the production of small volumes of Craigduff malt whisky and Glenisla malt whisky as an alternative to sourcing peated whisky from Islay for use in Chivas blends. A few casks of this old and rather rare whisky have been bottled by Signatory Vintage as Craigduff and Glenisla malt whiskies.
