Single cask #85077. Distilled October 1982 and bottled May 2011. 28-year old Bowmore from the award winning Duncan Taylor, Rare Auld series. This cask was originally destined for Japan. 199 numbered bottles.
Nose: Ripe pears, sweet smoke, vanilla custard . Palate: Bursting with juicy green fruits and touch of sweet candy, creamy, hints of germolene. Finish: Very long, mouth coating, fruity with touch of dry smoke at the end.
Bowmore Single Malt Whisky
Bowmore Distillery was established by David Simpson in 1779 on the Isle of Islay. Situated by the shore of Loch Indaal it is amongst the oldest working distilleries on Islay and one of the oldest malt whisky distilleries in Scotland.
